“Vacation” Sequel in the Works – to Feature Rusty Griswold
Now from the lame sequel department… New Line is planning a sequel to the 1983 comedy classic “Vacation.”
…featuring Rusty Griswold as the main character and maybe a cameo by Clark Griswold, Chevy Chase.
Not only is this a weak idea… but who’s going to pay to see it?
The new Vacation sequel would follow Rusty, now a dad himself, taking his family on a road trip vacation.
Wake me when it’s over.

A new writing team has written a prequel to the Vacation series titled, “Honeymoon”. From what I hear the story line follows Clark and Ellen from engagement, to wedding, and honeymoon mixed in with a present day story line of Audrey (Juliette Lewis) getting married in Los Angeles. Sounds like a great way to work in the old cast plus introduce the “next generation” Clark Griswald. Thoughts??
