Ooh… Bronson Pinchot is getting his name out there again – by dissing a lot of his past co-stars in an interview with The A.V. Club.

First up? Tom Cruise, who Bronson Pinchot claims he and Risky Business co-stars “thought Tom [Cruise] was the biggest bore on the face of the Earth. He was tense and made constant, constant unrelated homophobic comments … He always talked about himself like he was a mega-superstar; that was weird, too.”

Tom Cruise’s publicist, Cheryl Maisel, responded to Pinchot’s claims, saying, “Obviously this is so far removed from who Tom Cruise is as a person, this must have been said in jest.”

Bronson Pinchot also commented on working with Denzel Washington (a “dreadful experience”) and Eddie Murphy, who by the third Beverly Hills Cop was in a “funk” and he “was just really sad.”

Pinchot’s work with Denzel Washington on Courage Under Fire had Bronson spending his hard earned cash on therapy: “[Washington] was really abusive to me and everybody on that movie, and his official explanation was that his character didn’t like me, but it was a dreadful experience. I spent my salary on time with my shrink just for helping me get through it.”

Pinchot claims “Bette Midler was such a bitch” on First Wives Club, but had nothing but love for Tom Hanks, calling him “a wonderful and genuine and lovely and down-to-earth person … so it’s not really true that big stars need to be driven and repulsive, because he’s anything but.”
