Tim Burton, Johnny Depp Reteam for Film Version of TV’s “Dark Shadows”

I don’t care what Tim Burton and Johnny Depp reteam on — just as long as they keep making movies together! This time around, Johnny Depp and Tim Burton will bring the 60’s TV show “Dark Shadows” to the big screen. “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory” and “Corpse Bride” writer John August will write the “Dark Shadows” script.
“Dark Shadows” delved into the world of vampires, werewolves, ghosts, witches, monsters and zombies — and Johnny Depp is rumored to play vampire patriarch Barnabas Collins.

I am so excited that Jonny Depp and Tim Burton are doing a remake of my favorite childhood series, Dark shadows. I hope they get Robert Cobert to do the music for the movie. Also Seaview Terrace in Newport R.I. would be great as Collinwood. It was used on the original TV show.
