The Love Guru movie reviews
Ouch. The movie reviews are in for The Love Guru, starring Mike Myers and Jessica Alba – and they aren’t pretty. According to Metacritic.com, The Love Guru averages a 20 out of 100 among 14 film critic reviews (generally negative reviews).

Based on those reviews of The Love Guru, it sounds like Mike Myers has a flop on his hands (hey, they can’t all be Austin Powers!).

ReelViews gives The Love Guru the highest marks, but still isn’t entirely impressed: “Occasional bursts of comedy keep things from becoming unbearable but whenever Myers tries to get even a little serious or advance the “plot,” the desire to take a nap becomes almost overpowering.”

Some of the weaker reviews include The New York Times: “The Love Guru is downright antifunny, an experience that makes you wonder if you will ever laugh again” and the Wall Street Journal, whose reviewer gives The Love Guru a zero and says: “The road taken by The Love Guru could hardly be lower, and leads nowhere.”
