The Last Airbender Comes to the Big Screen 2010, Directed by M. Night Shyamalan
M. Night Shyamalan will direct a live-action big screen adaptation of the animated Nick TV series “Avatar: The Last Airbender,” expected to be released on July 2, 2010.
The film will be titled “The Last Airbender” to avoid any confusion with the 2009 release of James Cameron’s 3-D “Avatar.”
No casting details for “The Last Airbender” have yet been released.
