The Karate Kid Remake to Star Will Smith’s Son, Jaden Smith

Variety.com is reporting that a Karate Kid remake is in the works – starring Will Smith’s son, Jaden Smith.
The Karate Kid was a hit in 1984, starring Ralph Macchio. The updated return would star Jaden Smith, the 10-year-old son of Will Smith. Jaden co-starred with Will Smith in The Pursuit of Happyness.
The updated Karate Kid is expected to begin filming next year.
