Shooting a thriller movie can be hazard to an actor’s health, especially if they’re doing stunts. But an even more hazardous situation is playing a robber in the wrong place, at the wrong time. A movie shoot in a crime-ridden area of Luanda, Angola, ended with two actors being shot dead. They were playing robbers and police mistook the situation and shot them. This goes way beyond method acting.

The video clip below, from a 1950s educational film, equates Stanislavsky’s Method Acting to becoming a communist.
