The Blair Witch Project 3 in the Works
According to The Blair Witch Project’s filmmaker Eduardo Sanchez and screenwriter Daniel Myrick, they are currently working on a sequel – The Blair Witch 3.
Huh? There was a Blair Witch 2?
The Blair Witch 3 will be a followup to the 1999 original, as was the 2000 sequel, Book of Shadows: Blair Witch 2.
Sanchez commented on the film, saying: “Between Dan and me and the Haxan guys that did the original Blair Witch, we are about as far along on a sequel idea as we’ve ever been… It’s a completely different kind of film, but we think it’s in the original spirit of the first one.”
