Here’s an oldie but a goodie coming to a movie theater near you… Stretch Armstrong!

A Stretch Armstrong movie has been rumored for a few months, but now we have a release date for the Hasbro toy-inspired flick: April 15, 2011.

Will Stretch Armstrong appeal to a whole new generation with a movie version of the rubbery toy?

Brian Grazer, who is producing the movie said, “Stretch Armstrong is a character I have wanted to see onscreen for a long time. He’s an unconventional kind of superhero with a power that no one would want.”

Other Hasbro properties hitting the big screen soon: Monopoly, Clue, Candyland, Battleship, and Ouija.
