Check out this first picture from Dreamworks’ upcoming “Shrek Forever After,” the final film in the Shrek series.

Shrek Forever After comes to theaters on May 21st. The first trailer will show before James Cameron’s Avatar, opening December 18.

Shrek director Mike Mitchell tells USA Today, Shrek “has lost his roar. It used to send villagers running away in terror. Now they run to him and ask him to sign their pitchforks and torches.”

This Shrek Forever After picture shows the green ogre and Rumpelstiltskin.
