Everything has a price — and one “Sex and the City” fan is paying $52,100 to attend the film’s premiere. The good news is that all that money is going to charity.
A woman from Japan won an online auction to attend the New York premiere of “Sex and the City” with star Kristin Davis. The $52,100 winning bid will got to Oxfam.
Kristin Davis told Us magazine, “Oxfam’s mission is to alleviate poverty and injustice by helping people learn skills and create lives. I just got back from Africa and saw firsthand that we’re making a long-term difference. It gave me a sense of satisfaction.”
The “Sex and the City” auction’s high bidder also gets a pair of Jimmy Choos and gets to hang with Kristin Davis.
