Sarah Palin’s story is apparently interesting enough to make it on the big screen. Two screenwriters are interested in writing a movie about Sarah Palin, though each has a different approach.

Dustin Lance Black, who wrote Milk, would focus on the humorous aspect of Sarah Palin; Todd McCarty, who wrote The Visitor, is more interested in Bristol Palin and her boyfriend’s story.

Dustin Lance Black told Variety, “I’m always down for politics as humor. I’m also interested in great characters.”

Todd McCarty commented, “This young man gets his girlfriend pregnant and ends up on the Republican platform at the National Convention. There’s a dark comedy there somewhere. He was like a deer in the headlights.”
