Funnyguys Sacha Baron Cohen and Will Ferrell are hoping to bring the funny to Sherlock Holmes. The as-yet-untitled comedy project will star Sacha Baron Cohen as Sherlock Holmes and Will Ferrell as his assistant, Dr. Watson.

Tropic Thunder writer Etan Cohen will pen the script, while Judd Apatow and Jimmy Miller (the producer behind Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby) will produce.

Sacha Baron Cohen and Will Ferrell previously worked together on Talladega Nights.

Details are still unclear as no production or possible release dates have yet been revealed.
