A lot of horrible rumors have been floating since Natasha Richardson’s skiing accident yesterday – with some reporting that the actress had died or is brain dead. TMZ has updated the story and reports that Natasha Richardson is not dead; TMZ says “The hospital tells TMZ Richardson is sedated and suffering from brain swelling — but is not brain dead.”

We’re hoping for a happy ending to ths story and hope that web sites reporting on Natasha Richardson’s condition will get the facts straight before putting the rumors out there.

Time Out New York originally reported that Natasha Richardson was dead, before correcting their story to say she is “brain dead and will not survive,” citing close family friends as their source.
