Rafiq Qureshi, Slumdog Millionaire Star’s Father Caught Trying to Sell Rubina Ali

Rafiq Qureshi, Slumdog Millionaire child star’s Rubina Ali father, is currently being investigated for allegations that he was trying to sell Ali to an undercover reporter.
So far, Rafiq Qureshi and his daughter Rubina Ali deny any wrong-doing.
Shantha Sinha, who heads the National Commission for Protection of Child Rights said of Rafiq Qureshi’s alleged attempt to sell Rubina Ali, “We have sought a report from them and will take a decision after seeing it.”
Rafiq Qureshi’s former wife, whom he divorced several years ago, agreed with the allegations that a British newspaper made about the father trying to sell the Slumdog Millionaire child star.
News of the World first broke the story, saying that Rafiq Qureshi tried to sell his daughter for $300,000.
Rafiq Qureshi believed that the alleged sale attempt was a set-up by his ex-wife so she could regain custody of Ali.
