Patrick Swayze Talks About Chemo Treatment for Pancreatic Cancer

As expected, Patrick Swayze’s chemo treatment for pancreatic cancer is no walk in the park. Add to that a grueling 12-hour/day work schedule for his new TV drama, The Beast – and marvel at how he handles it all.
Patrick Swayze tells the New York Times, “I just love to work hard. I do find myself, at the end of the day, riding home sort of catching myself with a smile on my face. I’m proud of what I’m doing.”
As for his treatment, Patrick Swayze says, “I’m still fine to work. I haven’t changed – oh, I have changed, what am I saying? It’s a battle zone I go though. Chemo, no matter how you cut it, is hell on wheels.”
Swayze continues, “How do you nurture a positive attitude when all the statistics say you’re a dead man? You go to work.”
Remarkable.
