Nicole Kidman Overpaid?
Is everyone getting into covering celebrities? Forbes magazine has their list of the most overpaid celebrities, based on their per-film fee compared to box office returns. The list includes Russell Crowe, Nicole Kidman, Jim Carrey, Will Ferrell, Jennifer Lopez, Cameron Diaz, Denzel Washington, Will Smith, and Tom Cruise. (Now, now, be nice. We both know Jennifer Lopez only thinks she’s an actress.)
Actually, when you think about it, all of these stars were very big in the late 90s to early 00s. Have they gone soft? What do you think? And do you think they’re overpaid compared to athletes that don’t perform at all?
