Michael Douglas to Play Liberace in Steven Soderbergh Film

Steven Soderbergh is currently developing a movie based on the life of pianist Liberace. Michael Douglas will play Liberace in the biopic.
Steven Soderbergh is reportedly in talks with Matt Damon to play Scott Thorson, who sued Liberace for $113 million in palimony in 1982. Thorson claimed to be Liberace’s companion for five years.
Liberace died from AIDS complications in 1987; he was 67.
