The video game inspired flick, Max Payne, rocked the weekend box office, finally knocking Beverly Hills Chihuahua from the top spot.

Max Payne earned $18 million over the weekend, while Beverly Hills Chihuahua moved to number two, earning $11.2 million.

Rounding out the weekend box office: The Secret Life of Bees ($11.1 million) and W ($10.6 million).
