Mark Ruffalo to Direct, Star in “Sympathy for Delicious”

Love, love, love Mark Ruffalo. And he’ll be making his feature directing debut on “Sympathy for Delicious,” which he’ll also star in with James Franco.
“Sympathy for Delicious” was written by Chris Thornton, who plays “Delicious” Dean O’Dwyer, a paralyzed DJ. His struggles in L.A. lead him to faith-healing and the ability to cure the sick. The only problem is, he can’t cure himself.
Mark Ruffalo will play a priest, while James Franco plays a rock singer whose band wants to exploit the famous healer.
