Sex tapes these days aren’t so shocking, but imagine the scandal surrounding Marilyn Monroe’s recently purchased sex tape, had it been made public back in the day. A New York businessman has purchased the FBI-classified Marilyn Monroe sex tape for $1.5 million.

The buzz is that the Marilyn Monroe sex tape is from the 1950s and shows the starlet performing oral sex during the 15 minutes of footage. The man in the video is not identified, although J. Edgar Hoover tried to prove it was John F. Kennedy or Robert F. Kennedy when the sex video was discovered in 1960 (he was unsuccessful).

The Marilyn Monroe sex tape was discovered by a memorabilia collector who discovered it while gathering research for a Monroe documentary. The collecter said, “You see instantly that it’s Marilyn Monroe - she has the famous mole.”

The buyer of the Marilyn Monroe sex tape doesn’t plan to release the footage, saying “I’m not going to make a Paris Hilton out of her. I’m not going to sell it, out of respect.”
