Hey, Fraggle Rock fans — a live-action musical movie of our favorite Fraggle gang is heading to the big screen, courtesy of the Weinstein Co.

Fraggle Rock was a Jim Henson masterpiece that ran on HBO from 1983 to 1987 and seems like it will transition well to the big screen.

The new Fraggle Rock movie will be written and directed by Cory Edwards, who directed the animated film “Hoodwinked” (fabulous, by the way, if you haven’t seen it).

Get ready to “dance your cares away” with Gobo, Wembley, Mokey, Boober and Red when the Fraggle Rock musical movie hits the big screen.
