When I heard that Scarlett Johansson was releasing a new album, I didn’t really have high hopes — I love her as an actress, but I couldn’t imagine that sultry low voice singing. Take a listen to Scarlett Johansson’s new single, “Falling Down” and let me know what you think.

I’m underwhelmed. ScarJo’s voice doesn’t do much for me… but at least she’s got that movie star thing to fall back on.

David Bowie provides backup vocals on “Falling Down” and “Fannin Street.” The album, Anywhere I Lay My Head, featuring Scarlett Johansson singing Tom Waits songs, hits stores May 20.
