Keri Russell as Wonder Woman? Sort Of
The role of Wonder Woman has had various buzz over the past year or so, but that’s for the live-action movie. There’s also an animated feature in the works from Warner Bros, which is supposed to go direct-to-DVD. Keri Russell has been cast as the voice of Wonder Woman.
That’s too bad because, if you look at the picture of Russell above (when she was a bit younger), she kinda could pass as, say, Lynda Carter’s cousin. (Same kind of facial bone structure.) Carter was Wonder Woman in the 1976 series, and she was great looking for supposedly being 2,526 years old.
Russell will appear in Bedtime Stories (Dec 25) this year with Adam Sandler. No one has been confirmed for the live-action feature for 2009, though there had been some buzz last year about East Indian actress Ashwarya Rai (the one with the green eyes, who was once voted most beautiful woman on the planet).

I would like to see Brooke Shields cast as the new Wonder Woman, I think she could really pull it off. She is built like an amazon and has the looks to go with it.
