Nicole Kidman finally admitted that she is pregnant, then pulled out of filming for The Reader (Dec 12th). Kate Winslett will take over for Kidman.

Kidman is also working on Australia this year, and for 2009, Need, and The Lady from Shanghai. No word on whether she’ll drop out of these or whether they’ll be delayed. Maybe this is why she was initially denying being pregnant? It must play havoc with contracts. (Though Julia Roberts was three months pregnant when she did the bikini scene in Charlie Wilson’s War.)
