Kate Hudson is rumored to take on the same role as her mom, Goldie Hawn, in a remake of the 1978 movie Foul Play.

Matthew McConaughey is set to star opposite Kate Hudson in the new Foul Play – the two have previously worked together in Fool’s Gold and How to Lose a Guy in Ten Days. Kate Hudson has confirmed that negotiations have started for the Foul Play remake, but “we don’t even have a writer yet”.

Sounds like things are in the very early stages.
