Jumper: Coolest Super Power Ever?
Suspend your disbelief for a moment. If you could have any one super power, what would you pick? And how would you use it? I’d pick teleportation. It’s the only power that I’ve ever be interested in having. (It’s never going to happen, but can you imagine how much more powerful Batman would be if he could also teleport?) It’s an ideal power for someone like myself that has wanted to travel the world.
Teleporting seems like a power that actor Hayden Christensen wouldn’t mind having, either. In fact, he has it. At least, his character David Rice has the genetic abilty to teleport in the movie Jumper. In an interview with The Deadbolt, Christensen says that if he could jump in real life, he’d “want to see every square inch of the planet.” He also says, “I think it’s the ultimate super power.”
My sentiments exactly. He can teleport anywhere he wants in Jumper, except that he has mortal enemies chasing him, sworn to kill him. The movie, which is based on a novel by Steven Gould, opens Feb 14. It’s one I can’t wait to see.

From “Star Trek” to the new sci-fi film “Jumper,” we’re all familiar with the idea of teleportation. But as this ScienCentral News video explains, scientists are actually doing real teleportation experiments in the lab.
