Julianne Hough’s name has been connected with the Footloose remake for some time – but is there any chance the Dancing with the Stars pro/country music star will be cast opposite Chace Crawford in the dance remake?

E! Online is reporting that sources say Julianne Hough is in negotiations to co-star in Footoloose, and is currently ironing out the scheduling for the project.

Footloose will be in theaters in June 2010.
