Johnny Depp to Star in Pirates of the Caribbean 4
If you’re a faithful Johnny Depp fan like me, you’ll be thrilled to know that Disney has greenlit Pirates of the Caribbean 4. Johnny Depp will be back as Captain Jack Sparrow, although it’s unclear if Keira Knightley will return for the fourth installment of the Pirates franchise.
Now, I know what you’re thinking – the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise has run its course – why a fourth? But those who love Johnny Depp in the Jack Sparrow role will have no problem plunking down their money at the box office for another go-around.
Keira Knightley has been quoted recently as saying, “I think it was wonderful and an amazing opportunity and those films were just extraordinary and I was extremely lucky to be a part of them. But no. I think my pirating days may be over.”
