Joaquin Phoenix to Quit Acting; Early Retirement to Focus on Music

Looks like Joaquin Phoenix is heading for an early retirement – the 34 year old announced that he will quit acting. Joaquin Phoenix told Extra at the Paul Newman benefit, “this will be my last performance as an actor… I’m not doing films anymore.”
Apparently, Joaquin Phoenix is moving on to music, saying of acting, “I’m working on my music. I’m done. I’ve been through that.”
Look for Joaquin Phoenix in his last film, “Two Lovers,” due out next year.
