The Declare Youself folks are hoping the shocking image will persuade young people to get out and vote in the upcoming election, with a tagline that reads: “Only you can silence yourself.”

Jessica Alba told People.com, “People respond to things that are shocking. If you don’t register and vote and make a difference, and hopefully change the bad things that are happening in our country, you are essentially just binding and muzzling yourself.”
