Heath Ledger Tribute Included at End of The Dark Knight Credits

Stick around for the end credits of the latest Batman film “The Dark Knight” – the film will include a special posthumous tribute to Heath Ledger at the end.
The end credits will pay tribute to Heath Ledger, who died in January, and special-effects technician Conway Wickliffe, who died last September in a stunt-car accident.
The Dark Knight tribute will read: “In memory of our friends Heath Ledger & Conway Wickliffe.”
The Dark Knight will open July 18 in theaters.
Director Christopher Nolan commented on Heath Ledger’s performance: “I needed a phenomenal actor, but he also had to be someone unafraid of taking on such an iconic role. Heath created something entirely original. It’s stunning, it’s captivating. … It’s going to blow people away.”
