It’s not nice to talk about this sort of thing, but hey, we are a “movie gossip site”. Nicole Kidman, currently starring as a villainess in The Golden Compass, is delightedly pregnant. While she was still married to Tom Cruise, they had adopted two children. Rumors were that one of the pair were infertile and that this may have precipitated their divorce. But she did in fact have an ectopic pregnancy, which was only revealed shortly after the divorce.

Since then, both have remarried - he to Katie Holmes, she to country and western singer Keith Urban. (Urban, believe it or not, is born in New Zealand and has an NZ accent. Didn’t know they had C+W singers there.). Never mind that the baby Katie Holmes gave birth to - Suri - doesn’t really look like Cruise or Holmes. But Kidman is no doubt happy, and if this is why Cruise divorced her, then she’s vindicated.

Kidman is currently working on Australia and The Reader for 2008, and Need and The Lady from Shanghai for 2009. The video clip is an unofficial trailer from Australia.
