Ellen Page Drops Out of Sam Raimi Film

“Juno” star Ellen Page, who was set to star in Sam Raimi’s new film, “Drag Me to Hell,” has dropped out due to scheduling conflicts.
According to Variety, Ellen Page was to begin shooting the thriller on March 17, but Screen Actors Guild contract negotiations postponed the date. With SAG discussions to begin in April and a possible strike, some film projects have been put on hold.
Sam Raimi is the director behind the cult classic “The Evil Dead” series as well as blockbusters “Spider-Man,” “Spider-Man 2″ and “Spider-Man 3.”
