Now this one I’m just not seein’ — Elizabeth Banks will likely play the role of Laura Bush in Oliver Stone’s upcoming George W. Bush biopic, titled “W.”

Here’s the thing — I either recall Elizabeth Banks as the uber kinky chick from “40 Year Old Virgin” or as JD’s baby mama on “Scrubs.” Neither character is exactly screaming first lady Laura Bush. Then again, I guess that’s called acting.

Elizabeth Banks aside, the rest of Oliver Stone’s “W” cast is shaping up pretty nicely. Josh Brolin will play President George W. Bush and James Cromwell will likely play George Bush Sr. Jeffrey Wright may play the role of Colin Powell, but nothing is yet set in stone.

No word on who will play Vice President Dick Cheney. Filming for “W” will begin on April 21.
