Ed Burns (Saving Private Ryan, Life or Something Like It, Will & Grace (TV)) stars in One Missed Call, which opens Jan 4th, 2008. It’s a remake of a Japanese horror film from 2003 called “Chakushin Ari”. People receive calls from their future selves indicating time of death - which apparently is accurate. (Vaguely reminiscent of The Ring, at least in the sense of creepy phone calls.)

Ed Burns plays Detective Jack Andrews, the one member of the police force that believes Beth Raymond (Shannyn Sossamon). Also appearing: Azura Skye, Margaret Cho and loads of others.

Burns will also be in 27 Dresses in 2008, and wrote, produced, directed and appeared in Purple Violets this year.
