Dom DeLuise Dead at Age 75; DeLuise Died of Kidney Failure

Actor Dom DeLuise died at a Los Angeles hospital Monday night – DeLuise is dead at age 75 of kidney failure.
Dom DeLuise is famous for roles in comedy classics like “Smokey and the Bandit II,” “The Cannonball Run, “Blazing Saddles” and “The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas.” DeLuise is also well known for his starring role in “Fatso.”
Dom DeLuise also wrote cookbooks and children’s books.
Longtime pal and co-star Burt Reynolds commented on the sad news of Dom DeLuise’s death, saying, “As you get older you think about this more and more, I was dreading this moment. Dom always made everyone feel better when he was around. I never heard him say an unkind word about anyone. I will miss him very much.”
