Whether you knew her stage work, television appearances, or remember her best as the principal’s secretary Blanche from Grease and Grease 2, it’s a sad day for fans of Dody Goodman – she died yesterday at the age of 93. Dody Goodman had been ill for some time.
Dody Goodman is perhaps best known for her appearances on the Jack Paar’s Tonight Show and as the mother in the soap-opera parody “Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman.”
Dody Goodman also appeared on “The Merv Griffin Show,” “Girl Talk,” “Diff’rent Strokes,” “St. Elsewhere” and “Murder, She Wrote.” She appeared on stage in “Nunsense.
