Disney Plans The Lone Ranger Remake

You know the story — old TV shows get reborn on the big screen. It was only a matter of time before Disney got their hands on a remake of “The Lone Ranger.”
The writers behind the successful “Pirates of the Caribbean” franchise will work on “The Lone Ranger,” so at least you know it’s in capable hands.
Did you know that there was a 1981 film, “The Legend of the Lone Ranger”? Apparently, it didn’t do too well, but Disney is hoping their “Pirates” success can translate to a remake of “The Lone Ranger.”
“Hi yo Silver… away!”

Hi Yo Silver! I always loved that call. And the name Clayton Moore always represented all that is ethica and lawful and fair. Every time something happened in my life that was handled properly and ethically, I considered it a “Lone Ranger moment.” Please Disney Studios! Please do this one right! Baby-boomers around the world will appreciate it!
