Dakota Fanning Confirmed to Play Jane in Twilight Sequel, “New Moon”
What once was a rumor is now confirmed: Dakota Fanning will play the role of Jane in New Moon, the highly anticipated sequel to Twilight.
Summit (the studio behind Twilight) confirmed the news that Dakota Fanning was cast as Jane, so wonder no more. Production on New Moon begins soon – as the Twilight sequel is scheduled for a November theatrical release.
The news broke at the bottom of Twilight DVD promos sent by the studio, which included the text: “DAKOTA FANNING JOINS NEW MOON – Acclaimed actress Dakota Fanning has officially joined the cast, and will play fan favorite Jane in The Twilight Saga: New Moon.
