Christian Bale Terminator tirade caught on tape
Christian Bale’s blow up is the big talk of the day – but at least two people are defending his pissy tirade.

Christian Bale’s co-star on the new Terminator Salvation flick, Terry Crews, thinks that the Bale rant was the product of a bad day, saying, “Anyone can have a bad day.”

Crews added, “I’d get mad too if I was the number one star in the world and people started to mess with me. … I’m vouching for him. I know he’s a nice guy. I know he’s all about his work. He’s one of the greatest actors out there.”

Sure… anyone can have a bad day, and no doubt Christian Bale is intense about his job – but, have you ever had a screaming f-bomb fit at your co-workers?

Terminator’s assistant director, Bruce Franklin, backs up Christian Bale too, saying, “If you are working in a very intense scene and someone takes you out of your groove… It was the most emotional scene in the movie. And for him to get stopped in the middle of it – he is very intensely involved in his character. He didn’t walk around like that all day long. It was just a moment and it passed. This was my second movie with Christian, and it has always been a good experience with him. He is so dedicated to the craft. I think someone is begging to make some noise [controversy] about this, but I don’t think it’s fair. The art of acting is not paint by numbers, it’s an art form.”

there’ve been numerous times when i left work thinking i should have blown. then i walked around for a day or more with anger balled up in my gut. bale got rid of his, but, unfortunately, now he has to deal smart-ass people who have no idea how difficult acting is. i hope he gets his family issues straightened out and is able to get past this, soon. sometimes all the negatives in ones life converge and an explosion happens. give him a break.
