Dang, another Bad Boys sequel? Yep, Bad Boys 3 is currently in the works, reuniting Will Smith, Martin Lawrence, producer Jerry Bruckheimer and director Michael Bay.

No confirmation has been announced about the Bad Boys 3 plan – it seems to be in the talking stages right now.

Hancock Sequel in the Works: Hancock 2 Writers Hired

Hancock 2 will be coming to a big screen near you soon… a sequel to Hancock is in the works, with writers hired to pen the superhero followup.

TV writers Adam Fierro and Glen Mazzara (The Shield) are lined up to write Hancock 2, but no plot details or casting information (except that Will Smith will return) have yet to be revealed.

Hancock made $624 million last summer.

Will Smith bald in Beijing, China… uber movie star Will Smith was spotted with a bald head (picture) while with his family in China. Will’s son, Jaden Smith, will be starring in a remake of The Karate Kid called “The Kung Fu Kid.”

Will Smith’s “Seven Pounds” – Reviews Stink!

Will Smith is box office gold – but will the abysmal reviews for his latest, “Seven Pounds” – opening today (December 19) – keep Will’s fans away?

Let’s take a look at some of the Seven Pounds reviews – they’re not all bad, but most critics aren’t kind. And I’m not sure the vague previews are going to fill seats, even if it is Will Smith!

Metacritic.com scores Seven Pounds at a 35 out of 100, based on 26 critics reviews. Among them:

Seattle Post-Intelligencer, William Arnold: “A movie that plays better if you know nothing about it going in.”

Chicago Sun-Times, Roger Ebert: “Some people will find it emotionally manipulative. Some people like to be emotionally manipulated. I do, when it’s done well.”

USA Today, Claudia Puig: “While it doesn’t break any new ground or provide any revelations, Seven Pounds is unabashedly emotional and cautiously hopeful. It’s the feel-good movie for these feel-bad times.”

Boston Globe, Wesley Morris: “I’d like to make a 911 call myself: Lord, please stop this increasingly fine actor (Smith) from climbing onto another cross.”

TV Guide, Perry Seibert: “An insult to the intelligence of most moviegoers.”

The New York Times, A.O. Scott: “The most transcendently, eye-poppingly, call-your-friend-ranting-in-the-middle-of-the-night-just-to-go-over-it-one-more-time crazily awful motion pictures ever made.”

The Karate Kid Remake to Star Will Smith’s Son, Jaden Smith

Variety.com is reporting that a Karate Kid remake is in the works – starring Will Smith’s son, Jaden Smith.

The Karate Kid was a hit in 1984, starring Ralph Macchio. The updated return would star Jaden Smith, the 10-year-old son of Will Smith. Jaden co-starred with Will Smith in The Pursuit of Happyness.

The updated Karate Kid is expected to begin filming next year.
