Wow, that was fast. WALL-E will be released on DVD and Blu-ray on November 18. Both the DVD and Blu-ray for WALL-E will feature two animated shorts - “Presto,” seen in theaters before WALL-E, and “BURN-E,” about a welding robot.

The WALL-E DVD or Blu-ray set also will include deleted scenes, a feature on the sound designer, who also provided the voice of WALL-E and other goodies.

It was a big weekend for the little Pixar robot Wall-E - the film grabbed the number one spot at the box office, raking in an estimated $62.5 million in ticket sales over its first three days.

Wall-E’s box office win is nothing new for Pixar, who scored its ninth consecutive number one. That’s a pretty impressive track record. Read the rest of this entry »
