With G-Force’s loveable rodents owning the box office last weekend, it got us to thinking about kids’ movies that adults also enjoy. Finding family friendly movies that adults can stomach can be a tall order (ask any parent tortured by a viewing of Space Buddies), so it’s a treat when kids’ movies make the grown-ups happy too. WALL-E to be Released on DVD, Blu-ray November 18

WALL-E DVD release
Wow, that was fast. WALL-E will be released on DVD and Blu-ray on November 18. Both the DVD and Blu-ray for WALL-E will feature two animated shorts – “Presto,” seen in theaters before WALL-E, and “BURN-E,” about a welding robot.

The WALL-E DVD or Blu-ray set also will include deleted scenes, a feature on the sound designer, who also provided the voice of WALL-E and other goodies.

Wall-E Rakes in $62.5 Million, Wins Box Office Gold

Wall-E wins box office
It was a big weekend for the little Pixar robot Wall-E – the film grabbed the number one spot at the box office, raking in an estimated $62.5 million in ticket sales over its first three days.

Wall-E’s box office win is nothing new for Pixar, who scored its ninth consecutive number one. That’s a pretty impressive track record. Read the rest of this entry »

It’s official: Wall-E reviews are nothing short of spectacular. Based on the Wall-E reviews, this is shaping up to be the must-see film of the summer. Then again, it is a Pixar film, and they have an excellent track record of churning out great movies. Read the rest of this entry »
