This is so money – Vince Vaughn and Jon Favreau are reuniting for a new film called “Couples Retreat,” written by Jon Favreau and directed by Peter Billingsley. “Couples Retreat” will co-star Jason Bateman and Faizon Love.

The movie Four Christmases (Dec 2008) is a comedy starring Reese Witherspoon and Vince Vaughn. It seems that Witherspoon is balking at the way the sex scene is written. But as Page Six points out, with Vaughn being one of the producers on this project, the scene is unlikely to change. Body double time?
The other problem with a scene rewrite is that the Writer’s Guild is still on strike. In fact members picketed the Four Christmases set a few weeks ago, chanting “quiet on the set” and “no rewrites”. (Video clip below.)
