Ready to see a lighter side of Tom Cruise? Tom Cruise has signed on to star in “Food Fight,” where he’ll play a snobby chef who has to cook in a school cafeteria.
Tom Cruise is already getting loads of buzz for his role in Tropic Thunder – as an unrecognizable, fat and balding character.
Tropic Thunder is facing a boycott from a variety of groups that advocate for the disabled – the disability groups are pushing for a nationwide Tropic Thunder boycott for the way the film addresses the mentally impaired.
Special Olympics spokesman Peter Wheeler told E! News, “Ideally, we’d like the movie not to be shown. If they don’t pull it out of theaters, we’d like for people to hear what we’re upset about, to not go and see the film and boycott screenings.”Read the rest of this entry »
