Watch the new trailer for “Fanboys” in the video clip above. “Fanboys” follows a group of crazed Star Wars fans on the ultimate road trip to crash George Lucas’ Skywalker Ranch.

Fanboys will hit theaters February 6, 2009 and stars Sam Huntington, Chris Marquette, Dan Fogler, Jay Baruchel and Kristen Bell – with plenty of cameos.

Obsessed With Film wonders if there’s a new Star Wars animated feature film coming, but is undecided. I didn’t find any evidence of this, but a search on IMDB shows that there are three upcoming TV or movie titles with “Star Wars” in the name.

1. Bring Back… Star Wars.

3. Untitled Star Wars TV Series.

According to IMDB, this is a live action series that takes place between Episodes III and IV. The writer credited is George Lucas. Two actors are credited, but listed as “attached” (Anthony Daniels/ C-3PO) or “rumored” (Daniel Logan/ Boba Fett). Episodes will be an hour long.

This latter series could be the promised Clone Wars series, though I thought that it was to be animated. Maybe we’re getting both?
