On a slow news day, it’s nice to get a little sneak peek look at the characters of the upcoming Iron Man 2 – check out the cover of Entertainment Weekly, featuring Iron Man 2’s Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson as The Black Widow and Mickey Rourke as Whiplash.

Scarlett Johansson, Mickey Rourke Cast in Iron Man 2

It’s official – Scarlett Johansson and Mickey Rourke have been cast in Iron Man 2, opposite Robert Downey Jr. As previously rumored, Scarlett Johansson will take on the role of Black Widow, while Mickey Rourke has been cast as Russian villain Whiplash.

Iron Man 2 is scheduled for a May 2010 release, and will co-star Gwyneth Paltrow as Pepper Potts, Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury and Don Cheadle as Col. James “Rhodey” Rhodes.

Scarlett Johansson to Co-Star as Black Widow in Iron Man 2?

The latest Iron Man 2 casting rumor is that Scarlett Johansson will replace Emily Blunt in the role of Black Widow in the sequel.

Emily Blunt was originally signed on to play the part in Iron Man 2, but her filming schedule for Gulliver’s Travels with Jack Black conflicts with the filming on Iron Man 2.

Until Blunt drops out, Scarlett Johannson is waiting in the wings.

Have celebrity auctions sunk to a new low? Scarlett Johansson blew her nose on last night’s Tonight Show with Jay Leno and now the snotty tissue is on the auction block at eBay.

While bidding continues through Monday and already exceeds $2,000, you’ve got to wonder who would want a used tissue – celebrity snot or not.

The proceeds from the sale of Scarlett’s tissue will go to USA Harvest.

Scarlett Johansson graces the December cover of Allure Magazine, and a few things in her interview are a bit hush – including her arm tattoo (seen in the photo above) and how she and hubby Ryan Reynolds met.

Scarlett Johansson’s tattoo is located on her forearm, a brightly colored sunrise. Johansoon says: “It’s kind of personal. It’s a sunrise, and it makes me happy when I look at it.”

As for Ryan Reynolds, she won’t share anything about how they met, saying, “Nobody knows. It’s private. It’s our story.”

Sorry guys, Scarlett Johansson is officially off the market – she and Ryan Reynolds, who have been engaged for four months and dating for a year were married last night. Scarlett Johansson and Ryan Reynolds had a small wedding in Canada.

No other details are known about Scarlett Johansson and Ryan Reynold’s wedding – it was apparently a very quiet affair.
