On a slow news day, it’s nice to get a little sneak peek look at the characters of the upcoming Iron Man 2 – check out the cover of Entertainment Weekly, featuring Iron Man 2’s Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson as The Black Widow and Mickey Rourke as Whiplash.
Iron Man 2 is scheduled for a May 2010 release, and will co-star Gwyneth Paltrow as Pepper Potts, Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury and Don Cheadle as Col. James “Rhodey” Rhodes.
The latest Iron Man 2 casting rumor is that Scarlett Johansson will replace Emily Blunt in the role of Black Widow in the sequel.
Emily Blunt was originally signed on to play the part in Iron Man 2, but her filming schedule for Gulliver’s Travels with Jack Black conflicts with the filming on Iron Man 2. Read the rest of this entry »
