Sam Raimi, the director of the “Spider-Man” films, will be directing an upcoming Disney superhero film called “The Transplants.”
“The Transplants” comes from writers Adam Jay Epstein and Andrew Jacobson, who brought you “Not Another Teen Movie,” so expect plenty of comedy.

Since Peter Jackson has other obligations, he’ll not be directing the two upcoming “The Hobbit” movies. He will executive produce The Hobbit, now that he’s settled his lawsuit with New Line Cinema.
