
The 2009 SAG “In Memoriam” Tribute video presented at the January 25 Screen Actors Guild awards did not include Heath Ledger to many people’s dismay. Heath Ledger was included in the 2008 SAG In Memoriam tribute, despite the fact that he died in 2008.
Heath Ledger won a 2009 Screen Actors Guild award for Male Actor in a Supporting Role.

Given the current WGA writers’ strike, the 2008 SAG Awards must have managed a private deal. (Else they would have been canceled like the Golden Globes were.)
